The visually striking performance of “Sonte”, directed by Hollywood’s Joely Fisher, bridged European pop elegance with Hollywood grandeur. Their artistic partnership was later immortalized in Fisher’s published memoir, and she publicly praised MIRUD during the festival — a rare and historic moment that highlighted his growing international recognition.

In 2019, MIRUD took the stage at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in Chile, one of Latin America’s most recognized and widely televised music festivals. Representing his Albanian roots on an international stage, MIRUD delivered a powerful performance that introduced his artistry to audiences across Latin America and beyond.

His appearance culminated in one of the defining achievements of his career: receiving the prestigious Gaviota de Plata (Silver Seagull).

In 2014, MIRUD won the prestigious MME Award, followed by an award for Best Upcoming Artist at the MTV European Music Awards in 2015. In 2016, he was awarded Best International Artist at the Top Awards. He has also received five Music Video Awards at Netet E Klipit Shqiptar.

In 2019, MIRUD made history as the only Albanian artist ever invited to perform at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in Chile, one of the world’s most prestigious and widely televised music festivals. In 2025, he won Best Vocal Performance in Bachata at Premios Lo Nuestro for “Dios Me Lo Quitó.”
